Objective: To make fraction chart.
Materials required: A set of four rectangular strips of paper of
equal size, crayons, a pencil, a sheet of paper and a glue
Procedure:
Divide the class into groups of four students.
Each group starts the activity with a set of four rectangular strips of paper.
One student will fold the first strip from middle to divide it into 2 equal parts.
Then he/she will unfold and 1

is one-half ( ) of the whole.

Next, the second student will take another strip of paper and fold it from the
middle twice to obtain 4 equal parts.
After unfolding the strip, he/ 1

Now, the third student will take the third strip of paper and fold it into three
equal parts. The teacher can assist to fold the strip into 3 equal parts. Then
