drawing a Straight Line
A straight line can be drawn by moving a pencil along the edge of a
scale (ruler).
• Take a ruler and a pencil from your geometry box.
• Place the ruler on a page of your notebook.
• Move the pencil along the edge of the
ruler.

• You will get a straight line.
Now, you can draw a curved line using a pencil freehand.

1. Try to make some designs using straight and curved lines on a dotted paper.

Next draw figure from your imagination and ask your bench partner to count
