COMPaRISON OF NUMBERS
Diwali is a very famous festival in India.
It is also called the festival of lights. On
this day, people decorate their homes
with light.
Mukul, Sandhya and their parents are
going for Diwali shopping. They make
a list of things for Diwali celebration.
Candles: 215 Diyas: 240 Lanterns: 85
Glitter bulbs: 315 Sweets: 155 Gift boxes: 155
In the above list, the number of sweets ‘is equal to’ the number of gift boxes.
That is, 155 = 155
When ‘=’ is used between the two numbers, that means the
numbers on both sides have the same value.
