              tanGram

              Tangram is a 1000 year old Chinese puzzle of shapes. There are two                          3       4

              ways to make a shape with tangram. One way is to try to duplicate the                          5  6
              shape from a simple outline shape and another way is to imagine and                         7        2

              create new designs. There are different kinds of tangrams.                                      1
              In the figure given alongside, it is made with 7 pieces formed by cutting a square. There

              are five triangles (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) and 2 quadrilaterals (6 and 7).

              We make different figures by arranging these pieces of the tangram.
              Observe the following figures.
