Objective: To form different shapes by joining the pieces of a Tangram.
materials required: Card paper, scale, pencil, a pair of scissors.
Procedure:
Take a piece of card paper and cut a square of size 8 cm by 8 cm from
it.
Draw three horizontal lines and three vertical lines on it at equal gaps
with the help of a pencil and scale, so that 16 small squares are
formed inside the big square.
Draw one complete diagonal and one incomplete diagonal of a big
square, as shown here. Then draw one square and one triangle using
these diagonals (shown in red colour). Extend one side of square as
shown here.
Cut the big square into 7 pieces (tans), as shown below. You can use

different colours for each piece. 6
