                 The Taj Mahal is situated on the bank of the river Yamuna in Agra. It was built by the
                 Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife, Mumtaz.

                 Use the following clues to find the year of its construction.

                     Š The place value of the digit at the thousands place is 1,000.

                     Š The face value of the digit at the hundreds place is 6.
                     Š The digit at the tens place is half of the digit at the hundreds
                      place.

                     Š The sum of all the digits in the year is 12.
