objective: To understand and compare the weight and heights of children.
Materials Required: Weighing machine, a sheet of paper, geometry box
Procedure:
The teacher divides the class into groups of five.
She calls a group at a time to perform the activity.
She asks the members of the groups to find the weight of each other in kg and g
using the weighing machine.
Children make a record of their weight on a sheet of paper.

The teacher asks the students to find out the heaviest and the lightest children of
the group.
Also, find the tallest children among them.
Children also find out how many of them are less than 30 kg.
The same process is repeated with children of the other groups.
Now, the teacher announces the heaviest child and the tallest child of the class.
She also explains the bad effects of being overweight and how they should avoid
becoming overweight.
