converting decimal fractions into decimals
The fractions with denominators 10, 100, ..., etc., are called decimal fractions.
fractions with denominator 10 or 100
The fractions with denominator 10 are converted into decimals by putting a decimal
point (.) after one digit from the right in the numerator.

The fractions with denominator 100 are converted into decimals by putting a decimal
point (.) after two digits from the right in the numerator.

Mixed Numbers
A mixed number is a combination of a whole number and a fraction. To write a mixed
number as a decimal, write the whole number as it is and convert the fractional
parts into decimals.

converting decimals into decimal fractions
To convert a decimal into a decimal fraction, write the given decimal number as the
numerator without the decimal point and in the denominator, write 1 followed by as
many zeros as there are digits after the decimal point.
