                1.  Ranjana collects 224 sea shells to make necklaces for her sisters. She requires 32 sea
                    shells to make a necklace. How many necklaces can she make?

                2.  Amit gave one-tenth of chocolate to each of his 5 friends during the school recess.
                    What portion of the chocolate is left with him?

                3.  There are 4,65,234 men, 4,60,556 women and 2,78,954 children in a city. Find the
                    approximate population of the city to the nearest hundred?

                4.  If 3657 chairs have to be arranged equally in 80 rows. Find the number of chairs in
                    each row. How many chairs will be left?

                5.  A ship has to travel a distance of 12,600 kilometres between two major cities. The
                    journey was divided into four parts. The ship travelled 2,450 kilometres in the first

                    part, 3,500 kilometres in the second part and 2,700 kilometres in the third part. How
                    much distance did the ship need to cover in fourth part to complete the journey?
