Objective: To explore calendar and calendar patterns.
Materials required: Calendar of any month, paper and pencil.
Procedure:

Here, 6 + 8 = 14
Now, multiply the sum obtained by 9.
Here, 14 × 9 = 126
Add all the numbers of the grid. The result is same.
6 + 7 + 8 + 13 + 14 + 15 + 20 + 21 + 22 = 126
Repeat the same activity on other month’s calendar and taking grid of 3 × 3 of
any 9 dates by another pairs of students.

National Zoological Parks are home to many species of birds, reptiles and
mammals that live in an environment that in many ways resembles their natural habitat.
These parks are not only providing a home for endangered species but also help them
to breed well. Rehan’s father works as a security guard at The National Zoological Park,
Delhi. Here is his daily routine.

7. Takes a round of the zoo to ensure that no one is left behind at 16:30 hours.
8. Reaches home around 18:00 hours.
