Yoga is a method for bringing the body, mind and soul together. We may
relax and de-stress through yoga. By using breathing exercises, meditation
and some easy activities to reduce stress, we will benefit our body and mind both and
experience an internal sense of wellbeing and happiness.
The Sanskrit word "yuj," which means "to unite or integrate," is the root of the word
"yoga." Yoga focuses on bringing the body, mind and breath into harmony through a
variety of pranayamas, yoga asanas (yoga positions) and meditation.
