While travelling in a train or car, objects like Moon, tree, etc., seem moving with us and
give us a feeling as they are changing their positions. But actually objects do not move it
is just an illusion.
When we look at the study table from the side, it looks skewed but actually it is rectangular.
It is the perspective that creates illusion.
For example: A house hut looks different from different perspectives as given in the figure.

2D floor plans show the basic outline of a building including walls, doorways, windows
and entrances. It is a flat drawing of floor plan that shows the layout of every part of the
building very clearly. Before construction, the building is described by the floor map. A
floor map creates a key to illustrate how the available space should be used.
Look at the floor map of Bharat’s house.

It shows the planning of the space available and windows and doors in the walls of the
house. The floor map does not give a clear picture of the house, how would it look like
after it is built.
Following is the deep drawing in the 3D model of Bharat’s house.
Deep drawing is a 3D drawing showing length, width and the height
of a house or a building. It is drawn on the basis of the floor map.
The deep drawing matches the specifications of the floor map.
