Objective: To reiterate the concept of forming numbers with repetition.
Materials required: Number cards of digits 0 to 9

              Procedure:
Š Divide the students of the class into teams of four.

Š Spread some set of well-shuffled number cards upside down on the table.

                                                             9 7 3 0 4
                                                      8
                                                  6 3 74 5

Š Any two teams (Team A and Team B) will be called at a time.

Š The members of Team A will take a step forward and they will pick any four cards
                      (one card by each).
Š The teacher will ask them to form the smallest and largest 7- and 8-digit number by
                      using those number cards.

Š The teacher will ask a set of questions to the Team B related to successor and
predecessor of the number formed, comparing and ordering numbers, etc.

Š Now, it will be the turn of the members of Team B to pick any four number cards
to form the smallest and largest 7- and 8-digit number by using those number cards
and then the teacher will ask a set of questions to Team A.

Š The teams will be awarded a point for each correct answer.

Š The team which scores more points will be declared the winner.

Š The activity shall continue as long as time permits with new teams.
