You can compare the bar graph and infographic shown here. Do you find any difference between
the two ways of representation?
The width of every mountain in the bar graph are same, while the width of the mountains in the
infographic are different. The equal width in the bar graph makes it clear that we are only comparing
the height of the mountains, not the width. While the taller triangles in the infographic have wider
widths which is not true in the real world. The infographic in this case seems to be misleading.

1. Make a list of the 10 tallest students of your class. Also record their weights. Make an infographic
and interpret the information.
2. If you were making a table of the longest rivers on each continent and their lengths, would you prefer
a bar graph or an infographic? Give reason for your preference, with a suitable representation.

4. Select 10 states of India with the maximum literacy rate and show an infographic of the states with
