Step 4: Draw a line passing through points A and B. Let it cut the horizontal line at point C
(say). Draw a big size dot at point C.
A

Step 5: Erase the extra lines and points. Repeat the process for the other eye.
Thus by following these steps, we can create well-proportioned and symmetrical eyes.

How to draw an Arch Bridge?
• Take a rectangular cardboard of an appropriate size, say 12 cm by 5 cm.
• Draw a horizontal line segment AB along the longer side (12 cm) on it.
A 12 cm B
• To draw the semicircular arcs, first determine their diameters and centres. For this, mark the mid-point 'X'
of AB and then the midpoints Y and Z of AX and XB, respectively.
A Y X Z B
(Observe that there is a gap between the two half circles. So, the diameter of each half circle will be smaller
than AX, i.e., 6 cm. Therefore, to draw this half circle, we should take the radius less than half of AX, i.e.,
3 cm, say 2.8 cm in the compass)
• For drawing the first half circle, take the centre at Y and radius = 2.8 cm.
A Y X Z B
Here, the first arch is drawn as a half circle with a radius of 2.8 cm.
• For drawing the second half circle, take the centre at Z and radius = 2.8 cm.
12 cm
A Y X Z B 5 cm
• Now, cut the half circles from the cardboard. Your arch bridge is
ready.
