Objective: To make a beautiful mathematical pattern of the Sierpinski
Triangle.

Materials required: A4 sheets, colour pencils, scissors.
Procedure:

• Take an A4 sheet and draw an equilateral triangle of large size, say side length of 12 cm.
• Mark the midpoints of all its sides and join them to form another triangle.

• Colour the middle triangle.

• Repeat the process five more times. Each time, do not forget to shade the middle triangle.

Step 4 Step 5

• At the end, you will find a beautiful pattern known as the Sierpinski triangle.
