                Objective: To find the lines of symmetry by paper folding.
                materials required: Rectangular sheets of paper, a paper punching tool, pencil.

                Procedure:
                   • Take a sheet of paper and fold it into two halves.














                   • Punch the holes while the paper is folded.














                   • Open the fold and observe the punches and the crease.















                Observation:
                   The three punches are symmetrical, and the line along which the paper was folded is a
                   line of symmetry.
                  Use different sheets of paper to get the different symmetrical punches shown below.
