            Comparison of Angles using a Protractor

            Two angles can be compared using a protractor.
            Suppose we have to compare ∠AOB and ∠AOM,
            then it is necessary to:
             (a) determine the degree measure of ∠AOB
                 using a protractor.
             (b) determine the degree measure of ∠AOM.
              (c) compare the degree measure values thus
                 obtained.

            Here, ∠AOM = 30° and ∠AOB = ∠BOM – ∠AOM
            = 67° – 30° = 37°. Clearly, ∠AOB > ∠AOM.

              Vaidya is enjoying his time on the swing.

              He notices that the greater the angle with which he starts swinging, the greater is the speed he achieves on his
              swing. But where is the angle? Can you mark his starting position to show the angle?
