                    (a) an acute angle? Why or why not?
                    (b) a right angle? Why or why not?

                    (a) a reflex angle? Why or why not?

                Real life Application of Angles

                   • Architects and engineers use angles to design houses, roads, bridges, etc.

                   • Carpenters use angles to design furniture such as sofas, tables, chairs etc.
                   • The longitudes and latitudes of a place can be measured through angles.
                   • The rotation of the Earth and other planets are
                   measured in angles.
                   • Artists use angles to draw portraits and paintings.
                   • Cricketers use certain angles to lift the ball, while in
javeline throw, the angle plays a vital role.
                   • Nowadays, in some schools, doors are designed in
such a way that the door shows the angle at which
                   it is opened.

                       maths fun

This is a classroom game that requires two teams. To play this angle game, both teams will be
sit apart so that the action of Team 1 cannot be seen by Team 2 during the activity. They will
follow the working instructions for the game.
Requirements: Pencil, Jar with number chits, protractor, scale
