             Rules:
              • Team 1 chooses a chit from the jar and makes the angle written on the chit using a protractor without Team
2 being able to see it.
              • The teacher invites a member of Team 2 to have a look at the angle. Team 2 has to respond with the measure
of the angle in degrees without using the protractor in 2 minutes.
              • Team 1 now demonstrates the actual measure of angle using protractor. If it is equal to the guessed measure
of Team 2 , then +50 marks will be awarded to Team 2. In case the angle guessed and the actual angle measure
differ by 10° or less the points awarded in that case will be equal to the absolute difference in degrees between
the actual and guessed values. Suppose the actual degree measure is 45° but Team 2 guesses the 37°, then the
difference is 45 – 37 = 8 marks, will be awarded to Team 2. If the difference between the actual angle measure
and the guessed angle is more than 10°, no marks will be awarded.
              • Each team gets 10 turns.
              • The team with the minimum score is the winner.

                     Practice Time 2G

              1. Draw two acute angles and one obtuse angle without using a protractor. Estimate the measures of
the angles after drawing them. Measure them with the help of a protractor and see how accurate is
                 your estimate.
              2. Guess the measure of each angle. Measure the angles using protractor and find the difference
between the guessed measure and the actual measure.
                                                       F L O

Letters — L and T makes right angles.
Can you find the letters that have
                 (a) Acute angle? (b) Obtuse angle? (c) Straight angle?
              4. In Javelin throw, the angle of release is crucial for achieving maximum distance, with an optimal
range between 30° and 36°. Measure the angle of release in the figure and check if it falls within this
range. Should the athlete adjust it and by how much?
