While dealing with mirror reflection, care is needed to note
down the left-right changes in the orientation, as seen in the
adjacent figure.
The shape is same, but the other way round.
Symmetry by Making Punching Hole in a Sheet
Let us take an activity.

Let us take a sheet of paper and fold it into two halves. Make the crease.
Now, punch a hole. As shown in the figure below.
Open the folded sheet, and we can see 2 holes about the symmetrical fold as shown in the figure below.
In the same way, we can study the punching at different locations on the folded paper and the corresponding
lines of symmetry.
