Objective: Understand the concept of the circumference of a circle.
Materials Required: Cardboard, a scissor, a marker, a ruler
                    Procedure:
                       • Make cutouts of circular shapes of different radii from the cardboard.

                       • Take a cutout and mark a point on the edge of the cutout.

                       • Place the card on a table with the marked point of the card touching the table. Mark the
position of the point on the table.

                       • Roll the circular card on the table along a straight line till the marked point of the card
                       again touches the table.

                       • Measure the distance between the points along a line by a ruler. This distance is the
                       circumference of the circular card.

                                                             Circumference

                       • Similarly find the circumference of other circular cards.

                                                                  305 Perimeter and Area
