12. The mass of an aluminium rod varies directly with its length. If a 16 cm long rod has a mass of

is 24.5 cm.
13. A tree of height 9.5 m casts a shadow of 8 m long. At the same time, if a water tank casts a shadow
of 21 m long, then find the height of the tank.
