Parallel Circuit

A parallel circuit is a circuit where parts are connected

in separate paths. Electricity can flow through each
path at the same time.

For example, in a house, each light has its own path. If

one light goes out, the other lights still work.

CHALLENGE CHAIN
Use a battery, wires, bulb, wood and pencil to make a circuit. Connect the wood

between the wires and check if the bulb glows. Then connect the pencil instead of
wood and observe carefully which material allows electricity to pass.
