Draw a Simple Circuit

Let’s create an easy circuit using common materials found at home.
White drawing sheet/chart paper Pencil and eraser Crayons/colour pencils

Sketch pens (optional for outlines) Ruler

STEP - 1 Draw a small rectangle to show a battery on
drawing sheet and write Battery below it.

STEP - 2 Draw two lines (wires) from both ends of the

battery — one from the start and one from the
end. Use red colour for the positive (+) side and
black colour for the negative (–) side.

STEP - 3 Draw a bulb and write Bulb below. Draw a
black wire from the battery to the negative (–)
point of the bulb.

STEP - 4 Draw a switch and write switch under it. Draw a
red colour line from battery to switch and then
draw red line from switch to bulb's positive (+)
side.

STEP - 5 Write ON or OFF near the switch to show
its position. When the switch is ON, make
the bulb glow brightly.
