SMART ROBOT TASK PERFORMER
Design and program a smart robot that
can move, rotate and pick up objects using
proper coding sequences in Rodocodo and to
CAPSTONE PROJECT understand how electric circuits help power
and control robot movements.
Session 1: Learning Rotations and Directions
Activity: Exploring rotation commands to change direction.
Task: Use turn blocks in Rodocodo to rotate the robot left or right to face a new direction.
Steps:
1 Place Move Forward and Turn blocks in correct order.
2 Observe how rotation affects the robot’s path.
3 Experiment with different turning sequences to navigate obstacles.
4 Record the successful sequence that helps reach the goal.
Skills Practiced:
Applying turn right and turn left blocks correctly.
Combining rotations with movement commands.
Predicting the robot’s direction before running the code.
Outcome for Session 1:
Rodocodo program showing sequence and action.
Session 2: Exploring Electric Circuits
Activity: Understanding what powers a robot and how electric circuits help
devices work.
Task: Learn about types of circuits (open, closed, series and parallel) through hands-on
activity or diagram.
