Lift a Toy Using a Lever

To observe how a lever helps us lift things easily.
Materials Required:

A ruler or stick

A pencil

A small toy

Follow the given steps to create it:

STEP - 1 Put the pencil on the table. This acts as the
fulcrum (the balance point).

STEP - 2 Lay the ruler on top of the pencil. Place the
toy on one end of the ruler.

STEP - 3 Gently press the other end of the ruler.
Watch how your toy lifts up!

STEP - 4 Slide the pencil to a new spot and see what
happens. Is it easier or harder to lift the toy?
