MY SMART HELPER ROBOT
Objective: Make a little helper robot that can
move around and do small jobs using wheels,
Capstone Project levers, a battery, wires and a switch.
Session 1: Robot Helpers in the Real World
Activity: My Helpful Robot Friend
Task: Think of a robot that helps people — like cleaning, watering plants or carrying things.
Draw your robot on paper and show how it senses, thinks and acts.
You can label its parts — eyes (sensors), brain (controller) and arms (actuators).

Session 2: Design and Build Using Simple Machines
Activity: Build Your Robot Model
Task: Now, make the same robot you drew. Use simple machines like wheels, levers and
pulleys to help it move.
You Will Need:
Cardboard box, bottle caps (for wheels), pencils or sticks, spoons (for arms), rubber
bands, tape and glue.
Steps:
STEP - 1 Take a small box for the robot’s body.
STEP - 2 Fix wheels at the bottom using sticks.
