Resize Shape

The Shape properties panel, also known as the Inspector panel, is a tool that allows you to view
and modify the properties of the selected shape or object in your project. You can increase or
decrease the size of an object using the Inspector panel, where you can adjust properties like solid
colours, radius, steps, length, width and height. There are two types of handles in Tinkercad:
White handles: They change the size of the object in two directions (both width and length)
along the X or Y axis. The white handles on the top change the dimension along the Z axis to
                    increase the height.

Black handles: They change the size of the object along a specific axis (either the X, Y or
                    Z axis).

To resize an object, follow these steps:

STEP - 1 Click on the object to select it.

STEP - 2 Drag the white handles to resize the object proportionally.

                              OR

Drag the black handles to resize the object along a specific axis.

The object will resize proportionally if the white handles are used and along a specific axis if
                 the black handles are used.

                 Changing Colour

You can adjust the colour of shapes to customise their appearance and match your design
                 preferences.

To change the shape’s colour, follow these steps:

STEP - 1 Click on the shape you want to
                              change the colour of.

STEP - 2 Click on the Solid option in the shape
                              properties panel.
