Creating Hollow Shapes

Tinkercad allows users to subtract shapes and create holes using the Hole feature. To remove a
section from a solid shape, follow the given steps:

STEP - 1 Drag and drop the Cylinder from the
                               Shapes panel onto the Workplane.
STEP - 2 Click on the Hole option from the Shape
                               Properties panel.

STEP - 3 Resize the Hole to fit inside the Box as
                               required.
STEP - 4 Click on the first shape to select it.

STEP - 5 Hold Shift on the keyboard and select the
                               Hole.

STEP - 6 Click on the Union Group button on the
                               top toolbar.

Once grouped using the Union Group button, the hole will act as a cut-out, creating a hollow
                  space within the shape.
