What happens if a robot has sensors but no AI to process the data?

                 TYPES OF AI IN ROBOTICS

Artificial Intelligence (AI) in robotics helps robots think, learn and make decisions, much like
humans. Different types of AI are used in robots depending on how advanced they are and the
tasks they need to perform. Let’s explore the main types:

                 1. Reactive AI: Reactive AI enables robots to perform simple tasks by reacting to their
surroundings. These robots don’t learn from the past but follow a set of instructions to
                    complete their job.
Example: A robot that sweeps the floor following a fixed pattern, without learning anything

                    about its environment.
                 2. Cognitive AI: Cognitive AI allows robots to think and make decisions like humans. They can
remember information, learn new things and adapt to different situations.

Example: A robot that learns to avoid obstacles as it moves around a room.
                 3. Learning AI (Machine Learning): Learning AI enables robots to improve at tasks by learning
from experience. The more data they receive, the smarter they become.

Example: A robot that assembles parts more efficiently each time by learning from past
                    attempts.
                 4. Decision-making AI: Decision-making AI helps robots make quick decisions based on
                    information from their environment.

Example: A robot that chooses the safest path to travel when avoiding obstacles or other
                    people.
                 5. Natural Language Processing (NLP) AI: NLP allows robots to understand and communicate
with humans. This type of AI enables robots to recognise and respond to speech.

Example: A robot that can answer questions or give directions using voice commands.
                 6. Hybrid AI: Hybrid AI combines different types of AI to make robots more flexible and capable
of performing a variety of tasks. It integrates learning, decision-making and other AI types
                    together.

Example: A robot that can both learn from its surroundings and make decisions based on
                    expert knowledge.

10-15% and reduced resource use by 20%.
