                                                    Water-Powered Light Generator

Let’s create a Water-Powered Light Generator that uses flowing water to spin a turbine and light up a bulb.
                  Materials Required:
Cardboard base, glue gun 2 ice cream sticks (or wooden sticks) DC motor, bulb

Bottle caps, straw Small water pump Battery
Switch, connecting wires Plastic container (for water)
The steps to create the Water-Powered Light Generator are:

STEP - 1 Attach a stick vertically to the cardboard and fix the bulb to the top.

STEP - 2 Make a hole in a bottle cap and fit it onto the spindle of the DC
                                motor.

STEP - 3 Glue the DC motor onto another stick and fix it upright on the
                                                       cardboard base.

STEP - 4 Paste the bottle caps or fins around the cap attached to the DC
motor spindle to form the turbine.

STEP - 5 Fix the plastic container to the base and place the water pump
                                inside.

STEP - 6 Attach a straw to the outlet of the water pump.

STEP - 7 Connect the battery, switch and water pump using wires to
                                                       complete the electrical circuit.

STEP - 8 Connect the DC motor wires to the bulb.

STEP - 9 Fill the container partially with water and
                                                       turn ON the switch.

When the water flows from the pump through the straw, it hits the turbine and
makes it spin. As the turbine rotates, the DC motor converts this mechanical
energy into electrical energy, powering the bulb.
