Healthcare
Robots now assist doctors and nurses in hospitals. They help
perform delicate surgeries, deliver medicines and monitor
patients. Some even support people during recovery by guiding
exercises or helping them move safely.
Homes
Many homes have robots that help with daily chores.
Vacuum-cleaning robots, robotic mops and smart home
assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant can follow
voice commands to make life easier.
Defence
The military uses robots to handle dangerous tasks such as
bomb disposal, surveillance and rescue missions. These robots
keep soldiers safe by entering risky areas where humans
cannot go.
India’s first robotic police officer,
SMART named KP-Bot, was deployed in
SPARK
Kerala Police Headquarters.
Space
Space agencies such as NASA use robots called rovers to
explore planets. For example, the Perseverance rover on Mars
collects rock samples and sends high-resolution images back to
Earth to help scientists learn about the planet.
Agriculture
Farmers now use robots to plant seeds, water crops and check
soil conditions. These robots help grow food faster and reduce
waste, making farming more efficient.
