AIRO, I’ve seen robots in movies,
but how do they work?

Robots have three main parts: mechanical,
electronic and computational.

So, they have parts like our
body? What do they do?
Yes, the mechanical part is like a skeleton,
helping the robot move. The electronic part
lets it sense things and the computational
part is like the brain, making decisions.

Can robots think
for themselves?
Not really. They follow instructions, but
humans program and control them and
that’s what makes robots amazing.
