can move, make sounds, and even pick

things up.

• How it works: You can program (give

instructions to) the Lego robot to do
certain tasks, like move forward or

pick up small objects.

• Why it is cool: You get to be a robot designer, making your very own
machine.

3. Self-Driving Cars

• What it does: These cars can drive by themselves without a person

controlling them.

• How it works: The car uses cameras and sensors to “see” the road
and other cars. It “thinks” about where to go, and then its “acts” by

steering and moving on its own.

• Why it is cool: It is like a robot that takes you where you need to go.

4. Robot Arm

• What it does: This robot arm can pick up things, move them, and put
them down.
