Examples of Conductors

Some of the examples of Conductors are:

                     • Metal like copper, aluminium,
                     or iron.

                     • The wires in your house are

                     made of metal because they
                     let electricity travel through

                     them.

                  What is an Insulator?

                  An insulator is something that
stops electricity from passing through it. This makes it safe to touch and

protects us from getting hurt by electricity.

                  Examples of Insulators

Some of the examples of Insulators are:

                     • Plastic, rubber, and wood.

                     • The outside of electrical wires is made of plastic so that we don’t get

                     an electric shock.

                  Battery

A battery is a small power source that gives
energy to things like toys, flashlights, and remote

controls. It stores electricity inside and helps
devices work when they are connected to it.

                  What is Battery’s Polarity?

Polarity means that a battery has two sides or ends:

                  1. Positive (+) side

                  2. Negative (-) side

These sides are called terminals. The positive terminal is marked with a

plus sign (+) and the negative terminal is marked with a minus sign (-).
