                  In a closed circuit, everything is connected (like when the

                  switch is on), so electricity can flow and power the device.

                                                             When you turn on a flashlight, the switch
                                                             completes the circuit, making it closed, and

                                                             the light turns on because the electricity
                                                             is flowing through the circuit.


                  In simple words

                  Open circuit = Broken path, no power, nothing works.

                  Closed circuit = Complete path, power flows, everything works.
