Step 1 Take out all the components from the smart circuit kit:
• LED • Resistor
• Battery • Magnetic Board
• USB Cable • Battery OTG Socket
• 2 Jumper
Step 2 Place the LED module on the magnetic board. Then, place the
resistor module in series with the LED on the board. Also, attach
the jumper module to positive terminal of the LED module and
another jumper module with the resistor module.
Step 3 Connect the battery. Attach the positive terminal of the battery
to the jumper module connected with LED module, and the
negative terminal to the jumper module connected with resistor
module.
Step 4 Observe the result.
Output
When we connect all the parts together, the LED light will turn on. The
power from the battery goes through the jumper wires, resistor, and
reaches the LED, making it glow. If the connections are done right, the
LED will stay on. If something is not connected properly, the light will not
turn on.
Concept
This activity teaches how to make a simple light work using an LED, a
resistor, and a battery.
