Observation

Students will notice that the buzzer makes a sound only when the push
switch is pressed. When the switch is not pressed, the buzzer stays silent.

They will observe that pressing the switch creates a closed circuit, allowing
the electricity from the battery to power the buzzer.

                 Real Time Application

This simple circuit is like how doorbells work at home. When you press

the button outside someone’s house, the circuit closes, and the doorbell
rings, alerting the person inside. When the button is released, the circuit

                 opens, and the sound stops.

                 Water Level Indicator

Water can let electricity pass through it, but it depends on what is in

the water. If water is pure, it does not allow electricity to move easily.
However, most water has some minerals and salts in it, which makes it a

good conductor, meaning electricity can pass through.

This is why we should be careful around water and electricity because

the water can carry the electric current, and it could be dangerous if it
                 touches us.

Example: If you put two wires with electricity in salty water, the electricity
can move through the water and power something like a small light.

Components for the Water Level Indicator

The components of Water level Indicator are:

                                                               • LED: An LED is a tiny light that glows
when electricity goes through it. You

can find it in many colors like red, blue,
and green. It is like a small light bulb.

                    • Switch: A switch is like a button that controls if something is ON or

OFF. When you turn it ON, things like
lights or fans can work. When you turn it

                    OFF, they stop working.
