AI in Robotics

                    • Self-Driving Cars
How it Works: These cars are robots

on wheels that use AI to drive without
a human driver. They have cameras
and sensors to detect the road, traffic

signs, and other vehicles. AI helps the
car decide when to stop, go, or turn safely.

What It Teaches: AI in self-driving cars helps them learn routes, avoid

accidents, and improve driving skills by practicing on the road.

                                                         • Voice-Activated Assistants (Robot Assistants)
How it Works: Robots like Alexa or Siri can
listen to your voice, understand what you say,

and respond with answers or actions. AI helps
them learn from your questions and get better
                                                        at understanding what you need.

What It Teaches: AI enables these robots to communicate with humans,
understand different accents, and even predict what you might ask next.

Why AI in Robotics is Important?

AI helps robots become more than just simple machines; it makes them
adaptable, smart, and capable of doing complex tasks. By learning from their

environment and experiences, AI-enabled robots can improve their abilities
over time, making them valuable in everyday life, industries, and even in
                 learning environments for kids.

                                           Understanding the Concept of STA

Robots with AI are like smart helpers that can sense

their environment, think about what to do, and then act
accordingly. This process is often summarised as STA:
Sense, Think, and Act. Understanding this concept helps

us learn how robots work and make decisions.

                                              • Sense: Sense is the first step where the robot gathers
information from its surroundings using sensors.
Sensors are like the robot’s eyes, ears, and touch.
