Some of the key parts of an electronic circuit are:
• Power Source: This is like the battery that gives energy to the circuit, just
like how our bodies need food to work. It can be a battery or electricity from
a wall plug.
• Wires: These are like the roads that connect different parts of the circuit.
They help the electricity travel from one place to another.
• Components: These are the tiny pieces that do different jobs in the circuit.
Some common components include:
¡ ¡Lights: These can make things glow, like in a flashlight.
¡ ¡Buttons: These let you turn things on and off.
¡ ¡Speakers: These help you hear sounds, like music or voices.
Battery and Its Polarity
Battery: A battery is a small container that stores
energy, like a fuel tank for electricity. It provides power
to things like toys, flashlights, and remote controls so
they can work.
Inside a battery, there are special chemicals that
create electricity when the battery is connected to a
device. When you put a battery in a toy and turn it on,
the battery sends electricity to the toy, making it move or light up.
Batteries come in different shapes and sizes, and when they run out of energy,
you can replace them with new ones or recharge them if they are rechargeable.
So, a battery is very important because it helps us use our favourite gadgets
and toys.
Polarity: Polarity means the direction in which
electricity flows. It’s like knowing which way is “up”
and “down” for electricity.
In a battery, there are two ends: a positive side (+) and
a negative side (-). The electricity always flows from
the positive side to the negative side. This direction
is important because if you connect things the wrong
way, they won’t work properly.
