3. Sensor Communication
The sensors can use phrases like, “Take two steps forward,” “Turn right,”
or “Stop!” to guide the robot. They must communicate clearly, simulating
how sensors send information to the robot.
4. Robot Navigation
The blindfolded robot must navigate through the obstacle course using
the guidance of the sensors. Once the robot reaches the ball, they can pick
it up (or “activate” it).
5. Reflection
Discuss what strategies worked best for the robot to navigate the
obstacles and how the sensors could improve their communication for
better guidance.
Example Task
Navigate the obstacle course to reach the ball without touching any cones.

Skills
1. Scenario 1
You are in a classroom, and you see a robot vacuum cleaning the floor. The
robot suddenly bumps into a chair. How can the robot use STA (Sensor, Think,
Act) to avoid the chair next time?
2. Scenario 2
Imagine a hospital where a robot helps doctors during surgeries. The robot
has to pick up a small tool from the table. Explain how the robot can use STA
to complete the task.
