turning things on. When the switch is OFF, it
opens the circuit and stops the flow, turning

things off, like a light switch in your house.

Resistor: A resistor is a small part that slows
down the flow of electricity. It protects

other components from getting too much
electricity. For example, resistors are used
to make sure that LEDs don’t get too much power, which could cause them to

                    burn out.

Battery: A battery is the power source for a circuit. It provides the electrical
energy needed to make things work, like toys, remotes,
or flashlights. Batteries have two sides: a positive (+)

and a negative (-), and they must be connected
                                                   correctly for electricity to flow.

2 Jumper Wire: A jumper wire is a wire used to connect different parts of a

circuit. It helps electricity travel from one
component to another, like a bridge that
connects two points. Jumper wires are often

used to build and test simple circuits.
