Step 7 Go to downloads option and click on three dots and click on connect
device.
Step 8 A pop-up screen will appear click on next to connect micro:bit. Then
a permission window will appear select “BBC micro:bit” and click on
connect.
Output
In this activity, students will create a simple
program to make the micro:bit display various
emojis (like a smiley face, heart, etc.) on its screen.
They will use a computer to write the program,
and once it’s completed, the micro:bit will show
the emoji when powered on. For example, students
will be able to see the heart emoji appear on the
micro:bit’s screen.

Students will understand how to write basic code on a computer that
instructs the micro:bit to display certain images, like a heart or a smiley
