Observations
In the Sunlight Sensor activity, students will notice:
When the area around the micro:bit is bright, it shows a smiley face on the
screen.
When it gets darker, the micro:bit changes to a sad face.
Students will enjoy watching how the micro:bit changes its display based on
the light around it.
Application
Smartphone: The light sensor in a phone detects how bright or
dark your surroundings are. If you are outside in the sunlight,
the screen will automatically get brighter so you can see it
better. If you are in a dark room, the screen will dim to make
it more comfortable for your eyes and save battery.
