Observations


                 In the Sunlight Sensor activity, students will notice:

                    When the area around the micro:bit is bright, it shows a smiley face on the
                    screen.

                    When it gets darker, the micro:bit changes to a sad face.

                    Students will enjoy watching how the micro:bit changes its display based on
                    the light around it.


                 Application

                 Smartphone: The light sensor in a phone detects how bright or

                 dark your surroundings are. If you are outside in the sunlight,
                 the screen will automatically get brighter so you can see it
                 better. If you are in a dark room, the screen will dim to make

                 it more comfortable for your eyes and save battery.
