Understanding Electrical Orientation in a DC Motor

Electrical orientation refers to the direction in which electricity flows, akin to
determining the upward and downward directions for the motor. A DC motor

consists of two terminal ends – positive (+) and negative (-).

                    • Connecting the positive end of the battery to the positive end of the motor
and the negative to the negative end will result in the motor rotating in a

                    specific direction.
                    • Conversely, reversing the connections will cause the motor to spin in the

                    opposite direction.
