the term “breadboard” now refers to these boards, which provide a quick and
easy way to make electrical connections.
Breadboards are handy because you can set up circuits quickly and temporarily
to test them, and then move on to a more permanent arrangement once you’ve
investigated how they work on the breadboard. Additionally, breadboards are
inexpensive, and the parts that work with them are typically inexpensive too.
Different Sizes of Breadboards
Breadboards come in various sizes to accommodate different project
requirements. The most common sizes include mini breadboards, half-size
breadboards, full-size breadboards, and large breadboards.
• Mini Breadboards: Mini breadboards are small, compact
breadboards that are ideal for small projects and for sample
circuit on the go. They typically have around 170 to 400
connection points.
• Half-Size Breadboards: Half-size breadboards are
larger than mini breadboards but smaller than full-size
breadboards. They typically have around 400 to 700
connection points and are suitable for medium-sized
projects and for sample circuits that require more space.
