Step 7 Wiring the Voltage Regulator
Connection with GND pin of 9V Battery:
Connect the negative terminal of the 9V battery to the GND pin
of the voltage regulator (middle pin).
Output Power from the Voltage Regulator:
Use a jumper wire to connect the output pin (right) of the voltage
regulator to the positive rail on the breadboard. Now, the
voltage regulator will supply 5V to the LEDs, keeping them safe.
Step 8 Power the Red, Green, and Blue Pins
Use jumper wires to connect the resistors (which are connected
to the RGB LED’s legs) to a power source.
Here, connect the other end of the red resistor to a power rail
(output pin of Voltage Regulator).
