Step 6 Click on LIGHTS option, select ‘Set LED’ block and set it to pin 8. From Light options, select
HIGH and attach it to Set LED 8 similarly for else condition.
Step 7 Connect the robot brain and Mobile/Desktop/Laptop with the cable to upload the code.
Step 8 Once the code is uploaded. Connect the robot brain with power bank and check the result.
Learning Outcomes
Students learnt about the interfacing and connecting light sensor on Tinker Orbits. Similarly, how
other output device can be controlled using Light.
Application
The uses of LDRs are:
Street Lighting: LDRs are used in automatic street
lights that turn on when it gets dark and turn off
when there is daylight, helping to conserve energy.
Solar Garden Lights: LDRs are used in solar-powered
garden lights that turn on at night and turn off during
the day to charge their batteries.
