Step 8 Connect the 60T gear using axle lock and a small shaft as shown the image.
Step 9 Connect a small “L” plate on 60T gear using a small bolt and nut
as shown in the image.
Step 10 Attach the motor to the motor shaft and secure it on the small ‘L’
bracket using the screw provided with the motor. Place the shaft
locker on the motor shaft as shown.
Step 11 Connect the two small bars using nuts and small bolts.
Step 12 Finally, connect a hook as shown in the image.
Step 13 Connect the motor’s wire to the power distribution
board, connect the power distribution board to the
remote using a data cable, Now, plug the adapter into
the socket and connect it with the remote to power the
Robo Crane.
Output
Our Robo Crane is complete, and it’s incredible. We’ve constructed fully functional crane capable of
lifting and relocating objects.
Concepts
Understanding Motion: Exploring concepts of movement, speed, and direction as they relate to
the crane’s arm and hook.
Forces and Stability: Discussing the forces acting on the crane, including gravity and balance
when lifting different loads.
Calculating Load and Distance: Measuring the weights the crane can lift and the distances it
can reach.
Data Representation: Recording and analysing data related to the crane’s performance, such as
lift capacity and speed.
